I finally went to a WW meeting last night after not going for several weeks. Life has gotten very busy and I just haven't been able to get over there. I was glad that I lost 2.2 more pounds (grand total to 24.4 pounds), but also a little sad that that was all I lost after a few weeks. I haven't been "on plan" as much as I should have been and I knew that. I should say that I'm glad I didn't gain anything, which I am! I'm trying to re-focus myself and get back on the wagon. I went to the grocery store Friday night and got all the stuff to try out a few new recipes. I made mini banana pancake bites (I loved them, Danny didn't think there was enough syrup), meatloaf muffins (Sophie devoured these for dinner last night), sausage, egg and cheese bites (hashbrowns, cheese, sausage and egg all baked in a muffin pan...delicious with a little bit of hot sauce), and lemon cookies that I saw on pinterest (lemon cake mix, whipped cream - I used fat free, one egg and some powdered sugar - the perfect treat and just 2 points per cookie). I also bought a bunch of fruit, so I made some fruit salad.
Sophie has had a rough week. I was on vacation two weeks ago and it was wonderful. I spent my days playing with Sophie and even took her to Henry's Ark one afternoon with my friend Leslie. We were also able to go visit Mamaw for the weekend. The night before I was heading back to work, Sophie came down with a stomach bug that lasted about 5 days. She was so pitiful and there was not a lot we could do to help her feel better. She had a fever Thursday night which must have killed the bug and was much better by Friday. Saturday was a really tough day - she spent most of the day crying and I didn't know what was bothering her. I think she's teething, but the constant tantrums and whining just about made me lose my mind. Thankfully, Danny was able to stay home with her for a few hours Saturday night and I was able to get away with my friend Kristin. It was much needed! Sunday was a much better day and we decided it was the perfect time to get some sand for the new sandbox. Sophie LOVES it!! I came home from work yesterday, and she looked like she had been playing in it all day long! It was the perfect birthday gift for our girl!

Poor little pet... I hate it when the children are sick. Congratulations on your additional 2 pound loss... you are on your way!
